FED: Qantas workers reject offer - airline considers its options

SYDNEY, Jan 16 AAP - Qantas maintenance workers today rejected a landmark pay deal,jeopardising more than four months of tense negotiations over a pay freeze.
Qantas was left to digest the news that its offer for a pay increase negotiated duringmarathon talks with maintenance unions had been voted down.
Although the offer was rejected, maintenance unions have ruled out further strikesfor now, saying they want to sit down and talk further with Qantas about the dispute.
