QLD: Man jailed over ceiling drug stash

BRISBANE, Feb 4 AAP - A Gold Coast man found with more than nine kilograms of marijuana
stashed in his ceiling has been jailed for six years.

Craig George McLean, 45, trafficked drugs for commercial use between January 2006 and
January 2008, the Brisbane Supreme Court heard on Wednesday.

The drugs were discovered in the ceiling of McLean's garage at his home at Molendinar
on the Gold Coast.

McLean told police the 9kg of marijuana was intended for commercial sale.
