VIC:Man falls into Melbourne sewage tank

MELBOURNE, Dec 1 AAP - A man is believed to have fallen into a tank at a sewage treatment
plant in Melbourne's south.

The man, believed to be a worker at the Eastern Treatment Plant in Dandenong, fell
into an aerated sewage tank while taking a sample on Thursday morning, a police spokeswoman
said.

She said the tank was being drained and she could not confirm the condition of the man.

She said WorkSafe was on site investigating.
